A boudoir shoot can be one of the most empowering and rewarding things you can do for yourself. It can also be one of the most frightening because you are accepting yourself as you are, allowing yourself to be vulnerable and stepping outside of your comfort zone. But as Neale Donald Walsch says “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone”. Here are 11 of the most frequently asked questions when it comes to booking your boudoir session
Will my images be posted on your website or social media?
Boudoir images are incredibly personal and private and will only be posted if you agree. We will show you the images we would like to share and you can the let us know if you’re ok with us sharing them. No pressure either way!
Will I have to do my hair and makeup?
We provide professional makeup and hair styling. All you need to do is arrive with clean dry hair and a makeup free face and our professional artists will take care of the rest!
Do I need to wear lingerie?
Absolutely not! If you would be more comfortable in an oversized sweater and cute panties or a perfectly snug little black dress then wear that. We can make any outfit look sexy so you bring what you are comfortable with and we will take care of the rest. Just make sure whatever you bring fits well. If you clothing is too tight it has a habit of making you look bigger than you actually are.
I don’t know anything about posing, how will I know what to do?
You leave the posing up to us. You just come prepared to have an amazing time and we will take care of the rest.
Can I bring a friend to the shoot?
As our studio space is quite cozy we’d prefer fewer people in the space. This ensures we have the space we need and aren’t tripping over each other.
How will I choose my outfits?
Choose outfits that make you feel sexy and confident. It can be a beautiful bra and panty set, an oversized sweater and hipster panties or even your significant others button down top or favourite team jersey. As long as the colour and fit are flattering and you feel amazing in them, we think they are perfect.
What is your refund policy?
Due to the custom nature of photography, your session fee and custom products are non-refundable.
Where will my shoot take place?
Your shoot will take place at our in home studio in Rocky Mountain House, AB or Innisfil, ON.
What products do you recommend?
Our all time favourite is also our most popular and that is a 10×10 album. It is a favourite amongst men and women and displays your stunning images perfectly!
How do I prepare for my shoot?
After you’ve signed up and paid your deposit we will send you an extensive list of things you can do to help you prepare for your shoot.
What payment options do you accept?
Currently we accept cash, e-transfer, credit card and we also offer no fee payment plans as well as prepayment plans. We want to help you make your boudoir shoot happened without the stress of worrying about the costs.
